Having spent months trying to even get to see a consultant about my bad hip, I was slightly defensive at my first meeting with Mr Malek. I started badly with mishearing well-deserved as well-preserved in fear of not being able to have my hip looked at but Mr Malek put my mind at rest and made me feel reassured that it was actually going to happen. Even though I knew this was the only way forward it is still a worrying time but being met with respect and understanding by not only Mr Malek but all the staff at the hospital made the experience much less stressful. I am so greatful to have ended up on Mr Maleks list. I have nothing but praice for him and his team. Now, not even two weeks after the operation, I am walking almost painfree without crutches and have started looking forward to being able to get back to my dog and mountain walking very soon. Thank you so much for a new lease of life!

Mr Malek made you feel so at ease, he spoke to you like a person with a problem that he wanted to solve and cared what your concerns were and reassured you with the procedure the care the after care, I was quite scared untill i spoke to Mr Malek, he gave me the confidence in him for the procedure and the recovery to be succesful, Mr Malek and his staff were professional from start to finish, i could not of been in better hands, it was a pleasure, cant thank them all enough.

Mr Malek put me at ease from the moment I met him. He had an excellent understanding on how my hip was impacting my quality of life. Mr Malik was reassuring before my operation and was always happy to answer any questions I had. He has excellent after care and I even received a phone call to check on my progress. I can not recommend Mr Malek enough, I was in safe hands.

I had total hip replacement on July 26th 2018, I was very nervous about having the procedure but I was having difficulty getting upstairs so needed help. I made an appointment with Mr.Malek, he was so easy to talk to and immediately put my fears to rest, he was really easy to talk to. It is now just over 2 weeks after the operation and although I am on crutches I don't have the pain in the groin I previously had. I can look forward to getting back to normal soon. I would highly recommend Mr.Malek

Dr Malek talked me through the options for surgery in great detail, making sure I knew what decision was right for me. His manner is both warm and knowledgeable, which gave me great confidence in him. I never felt like “just another patient”; he seemed genuinely concerned for my well being. My recovery has been steady and uncomplicated, which is testament to Dr Malek’s skills as a surgeon.
